    Group Service Representative

    in

    St .

    Louis, MO .The representative will be responsible for working proactively with, and in response to, clients and potential clients to explore and develop benefit strategies and programs that will effectively, and cost consciously meet the needs of the client's organization.

    This position is specifically for employer sponsored plans and the representative will be working with employers, CFO's, Controller's and HR professionals as well as our internal sales and marketing team.

    Our client has provided complete and customized insurance and financial planning since 1969.

    They leverage their purchasing power and strategic network of financial advisors, CPAs,property & casualty brokers, mortgage brokers and attorneys to your benefit.

    Pay:
    $50,000-70,000

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


    Working with current clients and internal group marketing team in response to questions and requests for quotes to develop effective and practical benefit strategies related to cost, delivery, and administration.

    Attending seminars and continuing education courses to maintain forward thinking and creative solutions to new trends in benefit delivery and programs.

    Maintaining current knowledge on changing regulations related to employee benefits.
    Working with professional consulting firms and individuals to identify trends in benefit program competitiveness and delivery.
    Working with clients on developing practical approaches and methods of effective and efficient delivery of benefit programs.
    Analyzing and communicating results to clients of the implementation of new benefit programs and delivery methods.
    Developing and delivering reports and studies on feasibility and post-implementation reviews.
    Developing new business opportunities through the interaction with organizations and decisions makers in the community and marketplace.

    Maintaining knowledge base of changing regulations and requirements in the benefit administration and delivery arena and communicating significant changes to clients and others within the company's network.

    Creating spreadsheets, working on RFP's, quoting products and putting together proposals and presentations.
    Assisting with enrollments, changes in enrollment, billing issues associated with employer group insurance plans.

    Job Requirements:
    Experience working in the brokerage or carrier sector desired.
    Must have demonstrated experience working with clients and customers in developing solid working relationships and rapport.
    Must be highly proficient in Microsoft office software including proficiency in Power Point, excel and word. Must also have proficient skills in Adobe. Ability to learn CRM systems (primarily Ease and My Agency Block).
    Provide overall support and communication with Group Marketing Team and clients.
    Certification as "licensed health insurance producer" is desirable or desire to get certification.
