Our Global Supply Chain team plays a central part in ensuring our products are delivered to patients with cardiovascular disease and critical care needs. You'll partner cross-functionally with manufacturing operations and sales teams, delivering thoughtful solutions to complex challenges all while developing your knowledge of the medical device industry. Whether your work includes strategic inventory planning, labeling, warehouse management, material handling, or any of our other supply chain opportunities, you will be making a meaningful contribution to our team and to patients all over the world.

    The main function of a Supply Chain Analyst is to production plan and ensure continued supply within a highly dynamic NPD environment. Assess needs and perform actions required to manage product flow across the supply chain continuum.

    How you will make an impact:


    • Production plan for projects within Irvine Pilot NPD project portfolio


    • Actively participate and contribute execution of complex supply chain related projects (e.g, NPD, NPI)


    • Execute processes and procedures (e.g., SOPs, work instructions) and may provide recommendations for updates for applicable Supply Chain functions


    • Collaborate with departments (such as, clinical, sales, marketing, legal, etc.) within Edwards in order to assess needs and perform actions required, across the entire supply chain continuum (e.g, plan, source, make and deliver) seeking to manage product flow including issues with some complexity


    • Identify and resolve supply chain issues


    • Perform routine and detailed analysis


    • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain operations


    • Maintain processes and procedures (e.g., SOPs, work instructions) for applicable Supply Chain functions


    • Provide training to other Supply Chain team members


    • Other duties assigned by Leadership; Continuous training on related job functions

    What you'll need:


    • Bachelor's Degree in related field and 3 years of relevant Supply Chain experience

    What else we look for:


    • Master's Degree in a related field


    • Experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry


    • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Global Supply Chain, and Quality systems (e.g, SQMS, JDE, JDA)


    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills


    • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills


    • Solid knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to local and/or global supply chain including FDA and ISO laws and regulations applicable to medical device industry


    • Strict attention to detail


    • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels


    • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment


    • Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams, representing the organization on specific projects, and vendors/suppliers


    • Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships


    • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

    Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.

    For California, the base pay range for this position is $65,000 to $92,000 (highly experienced).
