    Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a full-time Early Career Cyber Systems Security Engineer
    In this role, you will ensure that cyber security requirements are properly defined, decomposed, allocated, implemented, and assessed to produce a cyber-resilient security design solution for the target platform
    This includes participating in working groups, design reviews, and formal artifact reviews alongside other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and providing security expertise to ensure cyber security is considered early in the product development lifecycle
    The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of cyber risk analysis and security assessment methods, Plans of Actions and Milestones (POAMs) implementation to mitigate cyber risks, and effective communication with a range of audiences
    Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance
    This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • B.S
    Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Security, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Cyber Security Engineering, or Electrical Engineering


    • Basic knowledge of cyber risk analysis and security assessment methods
    • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills and have the ability to work in a dynamic work environment
    • Ability to travel as required (25%) Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance
    This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

    Desired Skills:

    • Basic knowledge of Risk Management Framework
    • Familiar with full software development life cycle, and system engineering process
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work in a collaborative, inclusive, and team-based environment
    • Technical writing experience
    • DoD Directive IAT Level II or higher certification (Security+ certification or higher)

    Security Clearance Statement:
    This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Clearance Level:
    Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

    Ability to Work Remotely:
    Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees
    Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
