What you'll do on a typical day:

• Supervise staff during inbound, outbound, and city freight operations
• Ensure production goals are met by overseeing tonnage, payroll, and other administrative functions
• Manage hourly employee schedules to meet daily operational targets
• Enforce company, FMCSR, OSHA, and DOT policies and regulations
• Train and develop employees in alignment with company policies
• Exhibit and uphold our values, setting high standards for your team

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you will require:

• 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse, distribution, supply chain, transportation, or a similar environment
• Understanding of the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry, hazardous materials regulations, and DOT rules
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

Preferred qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Distribution, or Logistics, or 4 years of related work or military experience
• 2 years of supervisory experience
• Experience in the LTL industry
• Positive attitude, multitasking abilities, and team motivation skills
• Strong leadership, communication, and administrative capabilities

This role involves:

• Lifting objects of various weights, reaching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and kneeling
• Standing and walking for extended periods in a non-climate-controlled loading dock
• Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
