    Description

    We are seeking a skilled Infection Preventionist to join our team at Carriage Inn of Steubenville. The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, and direct our infection control program.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures
    • Conduct risk assessments and surveillance for infections
    • Provide education and training to staff on infection control practices
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement strategies to prevent and control infections

    Requirements:

    • Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
    • At least two years of clinical experience in a hospital or other related healthcare facility
    • APIC Certification in infection control preferred
    • Current, unencumbered RN license in the state
