    Purpose:

    The Web Experience & Marketing Automation Consultant will consult on and implement Athenes web experience strategy in support of the companys retail sales and marketing objectives. This individual will own the website content management system (CMS) and collaborate across the organization to ensure efficient, scalable solutions to complex business requirements. Qualified candidates will be effective marketers and technicians who bring a strategic mindset and continue to enhance the digital experience for Athenes key audiences.

    This role reports to the Director of Web Experience & Marketing Automation.

    Accountabilities:

    Web Experience

    + Develop a deep understanding of Athene's audiences and their digital needs

    + Assist with building, executing, and monitoring Athene's digital experience strategy

    + Work closely with marketing teams to ensure alignment on key messages, goals, and overall experience

    + Coordinate efforts with stakeholders across the organization

    + Evaluate and consistently report on website traffic and user behavior

    + Improve the overall digital experience based on analytics and derived insights

    + Work with established vendor partners to ensure technical SEO, and manage GA4 and GTM accounts

    + Assist Web Admin in webpage creation and maintenance as needed

    Digital Capabilities

    + Develop deep business, data, and platform knowledge to ensure viable and scalable technical solutions

    + Determine platform requirements to meet content distribution and digital strategy expectations

    + Work with Agile product team to identify and prioritize items requiring IT support

    + Perform QA and UAT for CMS enhancements during code releases

    + Train Web Administrator on CMS updates and critical platform changes

    + Administer select Martech platforms

    Strategic Automation Alignment

    + Collaborate with Marketing Automation and UX/UI team members to ensure holistic support of digital experience roadmap

    + Ensure digital strategy aligns with Marketing Automation execution for retail campaign support, content packages, and other business needs

    Qualifications and Experience:

    Required

    + Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of educational and professional experience, with technical and/or marketing emphasis preferred

    + 5+ years of professional experience collaborating and consulting with internal teams, stakeholders, and distributors to arrive at solutions while building and maintaining effective relationships

    + Experience building and maintaining webpages with a content management system

    + Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including website information architecture and content strategy

    + Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, marketing, and technical challenges

    + Experience with digital monitoring and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, including data analysis skills to interpret website performance

    + Knowledge of best practices and trends in digital channels

    + Ability to move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant details

    Preferred

    + Familiarity with Bloomreach Experience Manager

    + Experience working with an Agile development team

    + Working knowledge of HTML and CSS

    + Understanding of technical SEO

    + Experience with a third-party sales distribution model
