    Job Listing Description:

    A company is looking for a Controls Engineer to join their team in Walled Lake, Michigan. They need someone skilled in providing top-notch controls services and solutions in a collaborative environment. As an Automation Engineer, your role involves contributing to project lifecycles, from system analysis to system commissioning. The right candidate should have strong controls experience, stay updated on industry standards and technologies, and possess excellent communication skills.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Create robust solutions for various applications in automation, robotics, and manufacturing.
    • Collaborate with the Business Development team to define project requirements effectively.
    • Visit client sites, understand their needs, and propose tailored solutions.
    • Conduct research and analysis on new technologies.
    • Manage risk assessment and mitigation.
    • Assist in proposal development and technical documentation.
    • Support sales processes through technical presentations and interactions with clients.
    • Engage in stakeholder reviews and feedback assimilation.
    • Adhere to health and safety policies and company values.
    • Be willing to travel and work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Highly organized and self-motivated individual.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.
    • Familiar with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor.
    • Team player with good technical literacy.
    • Extensive experience in Electrical/Software Engineering for Mechanical systems.
    • Understanding of Manufacturing Automation and project cost management.
    • Knowledge of automotive OEM standards and current industry best practices.
    • Degree in Electrical/Software Engineering or equivalent.

    Estimated Pay Range:

    $101,000 - $183,300.00

    The pay range provided is indicative and may vary based on factors like job responsibilities, skills, and market data. Keep in mind that additional considerations influence the final compensation offered by the company.
