SPECIALTY UNIT: FIT, STAIN, & GLAZE TECHNICIAN

LOCATION: Palm Bay, FL

SHIFT: Days

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent

Reports To: The Fit, Stain & Glaze Technician will report to the Fit, Stain, & Glaze supervisor

Job Overview:

The Fit, Stain, & Glaze Technician is responsible for providing fit/finish of crowns prior to moving the crowns to the ceramists.

A successful Fit, Stain, & Glaze Technician has great attention to detail. Proficiency crowns, bridges, and implant abutments.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Review prescription and supporting documents.

Fit crowns to die.

Fit crowns on models by adjusting the mesial and distal contacts.

Adjust models to ensure accuracy of articulation and bite.

Adjust occlusal and incisal clearance or if reduction coping is required.

Keep work area clean and organized.

Willing to advance his/her skill set and knowledge in order to grow with the company.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Advanced knowledge in dental anatomy and terminology is a plus.

Experience in a dental laboratory is a plus.

Ability to read cursive writing.

Must have computer skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.

Critical thinking.

Communication skills, as you will be working with technicians and doctors to produce a

high-quality restoration.

Organization as it relates to case management.
