JOBPURPOSE:

radiation to produce cross-sectional imagesto help doctors diagnose and treat patients.

Technologists perform diagnostic ComputerizedTomographic examinations in accordance with
all prescribedstandards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.

Technologists provide patient care to all age groups toinclude neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and

Qualifications:





MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:

Graduate of an AMA approvedRadiologicTechnology
program.

MINIMUMEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A minimum of one (1) yearexperience as a Radiological
Technologist. If less thanone year as Radiologic Technologist must haveadvanced
certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography(CT).

MINIMUM LICENSURE/


CERTIFICATIONREQUIRED BY LAW:

Registered by theAmerican
Registry of Radiologic Technology(R).
If less than one year as a Radiologic Technologist,Registered by the American Registry of
RadiologicTechnology (CT).

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:

Advanced certification byARRT in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
BLS certified.
Six (6) months experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
