About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Emergency Medicine MD in New York

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Doctor for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in New York.

This role begins on Mar 1, 2026, and requires 12-hour emergency department coverage with both night and day shifts available.

The schedule offers 5-10+ shifts per month on an ongoing basis, providing a dynamic opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
Deliver high-quality clinical decision-making in a fast-paced emergency department setting
Manage triage, diagnosis, stabilization, and treatment of urgent and emergent cases
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with facility requirements

Additional Information
Active New York license required

Board certification required:
Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Internal Medicine-Critical Care Medicine, or Internal Medicine with Focused Practice in Hospital Medicine
