Location: Lenexa, KS
Job Summary and Purpose:
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic students to join our Summer Internship Program within our Human Resources Department. This opportunity is designed to provide hands-on professional experience, develop functional skills, and support the team in achieving operational objectives. The Intern will collaborate with colleagues, complete assigned tasks with accuracy and timeliness, and demonstrate a willingness to learn while adding value to ongoing initiatives and contributing to the success of the company.
Responsibilities and Key Duties:
Work independently and collaboratively on assigned projects and daily operational tasks.
· Participate in team meetings and cross-functional activities to support ongoing initiatives.
· Engage with departmental leaders to gain insights into the organization and the broader animal health industry.
· Conduct research, gather and analyze data, and prepare reports, summaries, and presentations as required.
· Present key findings and recommendations at the conclusion of the internship program.

Qualifications:
· Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program within a related field (Business, Life Science, Engineering, etc.)
· Basic knowledge relevant to the Human Resources Department
· Ability to work 40-hours per week, over 10+ weeks during the summer timeline
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
· Competency with digital tools (MS Office Suite, ChatGPT or similar, etc.)
· Eagerness and ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
HoSSalary: $21/hour
