    Description

    Position Overview:
    We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to oversee our receivables and ensure timely collections.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    You will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and communicating with clients to resolve outstanding balances.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Generate and distribute invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

    Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.

    Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.

    Follow up with customers to collect outstanding payments and resolve billing discrepancies.

    Monitor accounts receivable aging and prioritize collection efforts.

    Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and payment status.

    Provide timely and accurate reporting on accounts receivable metrics to management.

    Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.

    Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to address customer inquiries and issues.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).

    2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related finance role.

    Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.

    Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
