Job summary
We are seeking an Anesthesia Technician II to join our team at Eden Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and calibrating anesthesia equipment and supplies needed for each operation or procedure. They will also support the functionality of the department by distributing supplies and performing equipment maintenance, testing, and setup as needed.Key responsibilities include adhering to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety in delivering optimal patient care.
The ideal candidate will have equivalent experience accepted in lieu of a degree or diploma,
a completion of an Anesthesia Technician Course,BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
We are looking for someone with general knowledge of anesthesia related tools,procedures,equipment,the ability to interpret data,instructions,furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form,a basic understanding of human anatomy physiology pathology medical terminology,well-developed time management organizational skills,prioritize assignments work within standardized operating procedures scientific methods achieve objectives meet deadline.
We require computer applications Microsoft Office Suite Word Excel Outlook,maintains all anesthesia equipment ventilators intubation scopes laryngoscopes physiologic monitors.Work independently part team accomplish multiple tasks environment interruptions.Identify evaluate resolve standard problems selecting appropriate solutions established options.Build collaborate relationships peers healthcare providers achieve departmental corporate objectives.Integrates education technical competence patient interaction skills gain confidence cooperation patient family/support group healthcare providers.Job description
