WeCare tlc, has an opportunity for a skilled Family Physician for our Health Center in North Vernon, IN.Our health center does not bill insurance allowing for more time with patients
The highly qualified individual we seek will be responsible for providing primary care to eligible employees and their dependents.
This individual will also serve as a collaborator for our Nurse Practitioner.Overview of role:
Comprehensive primary care services, including but not limited to
Episodic Care (e.g., Diagnosis/Treatment of Colds, Flu, Dizziness, Nausea, Headaches, Rashes, Acute Injuries, Minor Surgical Procedures, etc.)
Chronic Condition Diagnosis/Management, Including Personalized Care Plan and Risk Reduction Plan (e.g., chronic disease)
Minor First-Aid (e.g., Bumps, Bruises, Cuts, Small Burns, Muscle Strains, etc.)
Order and interpret comprehensive laboratory, imaging, and other diagnostic services
Minor in-office procedures
Willing to provide care in person and via telehealth when appropriate
Key Care Management Services:
Care Coordination
Referral Management
Pediatric Services:
~2 Years & Older:
Fever, Cough, Earache, Minor Illness
~10 Years & Older:
Routine Primary Care, School Physicals
Wellness/Prevention Services:
Full Physicals (Including Well-Woman Exams)
Wellness Program Oversight and Analysis
Health Risk Assessments and Evaluations
Biometric Blood Analysis
Administering Vaccinations, Tetanus Shots, Flu Shots, etc.
Occupational and
Workers Compensation Services:
Pre-Employment Physical Exams, Medical Histories, Screenings
Yearly Employment Physicals
Care For Work-Related Injuries
Prescribing Physical Therapy for Occupational Injuries or Illnesses
Hepatitis And Tetanus Vaccination
Assisting Client Departments with Review of Workers Compensation Claims
The physician may also have other clinical duties that advance WeCare tlcs mission and contribute to our organizational development.? We seek an individual that is bright, focused, self-motivated, friendly, organized, flexible, adaptable, and able to build rapport quickly.
Current knowledge of clinical practices required. Must have good judgment, excellent follow-up skills, a sense of urgency.Must be a graduate from an accredited medical school. Have a state medical license in good standing. Active and clear DEA. Experience in family medicine, preventive medicine, and/or occupational medicine. Board certification or eligibility.
