As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Manager.
Position: Project Manager
Location: Miami, FL (On-Site)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Account Management: Oversee multiple active accounts within our software dedicated to artwork inventory and Bill of Lading (BOL) creation. This includes daily project needs, project-specific invoicing, and payment approvals for third-party invoices.
Client Communication: Assume a leadership or supportive role in all project-specific communications with clients, ensuring stringent quality control measures and maintaining high client satisfaction.
Warehouse Supervision: Exercise diligent oversight over incoming artwork deliveries and outgoing property for clients, collaborating closely with warehouse managers to address specific requests promptly.
Administrative Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in administrative tasks, including advanced usage of Excel and Word, email correspondence, scanning, data entry, and filing.
Logistics Coordination: Facilitate seamless logistical operations by arranging local deliveries, collections, and packing orders in collaboration with the scheduling department.
Logistical Expertise: Leverage expertise in import/export processes, US customs regulations, and proofing air waybills and bills of lading for compliance and efficiency.
Estimation Services: Provide accurate estimates for logistical services to new and prospective clients.
Warehouse Oversight: Conduct daily follow-ups with the warehouse to monitor packing, inspections, inventory, and pending paperwork.
Data Management: Execute data entry tasks proficiently, ensuring accurate transfer of data into the EOS system.
Packing Expertise: Demonstrate a nuanced understanding of packing methods for artworks, furniture, and other valuable property to ensure their preservation during transit and storage.
Project Management: Take charge of projects from inception to completion, including coordination with buildings/sites, planning logistics, transportation, and conducting site visits.
Preferred but Not Required:
Interior Design and Fine Art Knowledge: Understanding of interior design principles and fine art appreciation.
Gallery, Museum, Auction Experience: Experience within these sectors to understand unique client needs.
Import/Export/Domestic Shipping: In-depth knowledge of import/export processes and customs procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in project management and logistics preferred
