    Job purpose

    Are you looking for an exciting and rewarding part-time job? We are looking for an experienced Program Monitor for our Supervised Parenting Program The Program Monitor will be responsible for providing direct supervision of parents and children during court -ordered supervised parenting visits and exchanges. The Program Monitor will also be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants, providing support and guidance to parents, and documenting visits and interactions. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills and be able to remain calm and professional in potentially stressful situations.     Duties and responsibilities

    · Observe and monitor both supervised parenting sessions and exchanges

    · Coordinates and uses Trauma informed techniques to engage positive interactions between parents and children

    · Ensure positive interactions occur between parents and their children in a safe supervised settling that respects the rights of all parties

    · Collects and enters data into agency systems and databases

    · Appears at required staff meetings, staff trainings, and professional development sessions

    · Reviews and assesses proper documentation of case files.

    · Abides by all agency guidelines, policies, and procedures, periodically self-reviewing policy and procedure manual to familiarize with supervised visit guidelines and expectations for Program Monitor

    · other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

    Qualifications

    · Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW), Psychology or Human Services required.

    · Preferred at least 1-2 year's previous experience working in Parenting & Supervisory programs. Highly desired prior experience working with families impacted by domestic violence, child abuse or similar situations.

    · Prior experience with case management, advocacy, and exposure to social work in the legal system highly desired.

    · Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, execute sound judgment, and implement crisis intervention techniques when needed.

    · Flexibility to work 2 Saturday's out of the month 10:30am-5:00pm and 1-2 evenings 5:00pm-8:30 pm

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    · Must be able to complete manual tasks involving dexterity to enter and retrieve data using computer systems, systems applications, and other office equipment. Ability to walk, stand, sit for short or long periods of time in an office setting. In certain situations, may be required to work within changing physical environments due to support of child/family's needs.

    · Ability to lift and transport materials/supplies up to 25 lbs. for internal documentation and recordkeeping, court support, and other administrative tasks.
