- Collaborate with engineering teams to support operational and sales estimating processes.
- Contribute to the development of projects and provide ongoing operational support as required.
- Engage in service-oriented engineering tasks for both operations and sales departments.
- Manage projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring they are ready for operational deployment.
- Assist in creating estimates that align with best practices for manufacturing processes.
- Contribute to the design and development of welding and forming fixtures.
- Generate conceptual designs and technical drawings using SolidWorks 3D CAD software.
- Develop DXF files to facilitate programming requirements.
- Support the creation and maintenance of operational-specific technical documentation.
- Contribute to the establishment and enhancement of best practices to optimize operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity through lean manufacturing principles.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop manufacturing plans for new products.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Provide training and support to production teams on new processes, equipment, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Lead or support cross-functional projects related to process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and new product introductions.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Proficient in CAD software, with SolidWorks proficiency strongly preferred.
- Experience with laser nesting software.
- Familiarity with MRP systems.
- Proven track record in designing products for manufacturability.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within technical teams.
- Demonstrated project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.
