    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with engineering teams to support operational and sales estimating processes.
    • Contribute to the development of projects and provide ongoing operational support as required.
    • Engage in service-oriented engineering tasks for both operations and sales departments.
    • Manage projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring they are ready for operational deployment.
    • Assist in creating estimates that align with best practices for manufacturing processes.
    • Contribute to the design and development of welding and forming fixtures.
    • Generate conceptual designs and technical drawings using SolidWorks 3D CAD software.
    • Develop DXF files to facilitate programming requirements.
    • Support the creation and maintenance of operational-specific technical documentation.
    • Contribute to the establishment and enhancement of best practices to optimize operational efficiency.
    • Identify opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity through lean manufacturing principles.
    • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop manufacturing plans for new products.
    • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet customer specifications.
    • Provide training and support to production teams on new processes, equipment, and best practices.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
    • Lead or support cross-functional projects related to process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and new product introductions.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
    • Proficient in CAD software, with SolidWorks proficiency strongly preferred.
    • Experience with laser nesting software.
    • Familiarity with MRP systems.
    • Proven track record in designing products for manufacturability.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively within technical teams.
    • Demonstrated project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.
