Job summary
The Surgery Clerical Support/Scheduling Specialist must be able to exercise superior communication skills and filter a vast amount of information accurately with the ability to interface effectively with patients, physicians, and all other levels within the organization.
+Responsibilities
- Daily coordination of calls inbound and outbound calls for the department.
- Handles multiple staff requests, by directing the request to the most appropriate person in a timely manner to respond.
- Distributes final schedules to all appropriate areas on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- Clerical experience and/or hospital experience desirable.
Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel, with proficient data entry skills.
