Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. If you have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong attention to detail, we invite you to apply for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome customers and provide them with a friendly and efficient checkout experience
Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
Scan and bag customer purchases with care and attention to detail
Maintain accurate cash drawer and balance transactions at the end of each shift
Assist customers with product inquiries and locate items within the store
Ensure that the checkout area is clean, tidy, and well-stocked with necessary supplies

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
Excellent mathematical skills and the ability to make accurate calculations quickly
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle cash transactions in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all transactions
