Description

The purpose of this position is to develop capabilities using Python scripts and packages, web-based applications, and automated workflows on cloud environment to enable analysts to analyze and extract insights from massive data stores.

Overall responsibilities of the position include:

Full Stack Software Development in a Cloud environment.

Product-design from conceptualization, detailed user interface, functional design, through implementation and usability review.

Developing innovative user-interface designs in response to marketing requirements, user analyses, product innovation, technology, and business needs.

Developing conceptual models, workflows, design prototypes, and user-interface specifications.

Ensuring user-interface guidelines and standards are followed during the development and maintenance of the product.

Conducting and/or participating in product usability tests.

Requirements

Experience using Python, Javascript, SQL, and Git
Experience operating in cloud environment and leveraging cloud resources to develop software solutions
Experience designing and deploying software systems for intelligence analysts, displaying a deep understanding of how to fill all of the front-end and back-end parts together
Experience in data visualization and graph theory-based methods
Experience with CSS, HTML, or web based development
Experience using containerization such as Docker or developing and deploying containerized applications and databases
Experience with user-centered design principles and practices, web standards, typography and color, and web usability standards
Experience using Git for versioning
Experience developing algorithms to support graph theory-based methods
