    Job Overview


    As a Senior Technician, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues. You'll collaborate closely with our Service Manager and Advisors to ensure top-notch quality and efficiency in our shop. We're on the lookout for energetic, upbeat technicians who are passionate about finding solutions and delivering exceptional service to our guests.

    Your Responsibilities


    In this role, you will:

    • Collaborate with the service department to distribute work effectively among technicians.
    • Oversee technician workloads and ensure smooth workflow in the service area.
    • Train and mentor new technicians, fostering their growth and development.
    • Assist fellow technicians in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, especially in cases of misdiagnosis.
    • Educate the team on brand and quality standards to address guest concerns promptly.
    • Manage shop supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is in top shape.
    • Monitor bulk fluid levels and shop efficiency through technician hours reports.
    • Promote safety, cleanliness, and organization by distributing housekeeping tasks.
    • Enforce safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Communicate effectively with the service department to resolve guest concerns.

    What We're Looking For


    Qualifications:

    • A positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve our guests.
    • 7+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
    • Exceptional automotive diagnostic skills.
    • A strong investment in your own tools.
    • Ability to flag 40+ hours per week, depending on shop needs.
    • ASE A1-A8 Certifications required; Master L1 preferred.
    • Diesel experience is a plus
    • Capability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
    • Aptitude for learning new skills and processes.
    • Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
    • A desire for long-term career development.

    Physical Requirements

    • Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
    • Work with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
    • Navigate tight spaces as required by vehicle repairs.
    • Demonstrate dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
    • Stand or walk for the majority of your workday.
    • Drive manual transmission vehicles.
    • Efficiently navigate a computer.
