- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensation of medications and related tasks.
- Receive and verify prescriptions and refill requests, ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
- Prepare medication and other healthcare products for shipment.
- Manage inventory levels, place and expedite orders, and verify receipt of supplies.
- Maintain pharmacy equipment and facilities to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and communicate with patients over the phone regarding their prescriptions.
- Use pharmacy systems to input patient data and process orders efficiently.
- Monday-Saturday must be flexible
- Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
- 30+ hours per week based on hours of operation
- 1+ years of previous Pharmacy Technician experience
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the State of NY preferred
- PTCB or NHC preferred
- Mail Order/Specialty pharmacy experience a plus
