    Description

    Summary/Objective

    As the Production Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate activities of Line Leads, Material Handlers and production assembly associates.

    Essential Functions

    1. Identify employee skills effectively and efficiently by ensuring that proper training and necessary instructions are given.

    2. Establish employees' daily production goals, assign tasks, and set expectations.

    3. Analyze and adjust employee head count daily to meet production requirements.

    4. Make observations/recommendations as required and provide feedback to case managers.

    5. Ensure that quality standards are communicated to each employee. Provide clear instruction and tools necessary to complete job safely, efficiently and on time.

    6. Follow-up on all productivity rates.

    7. Oversee preventative maintenance and clean-up upon completion of each job.

    8. Oversee preparation of finished product for shipment.

    9. Interact positively with subordinates, peers and superiors to achieve agency objectives.

    10. Schedule tasks to ensure high productivity and quality; and to meet customer requirements.

    11. Continuously review and analyze productivity to identify and implement improvements and to control/reduce costs.

    12. Coordinate employee training as required.

    13. Meet or beat the budget.

    14. Ensure a safe, clean work environment for all employees.

    15. Perform any miscellaneous duties assigned.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills

    Good communicator (written & verbal) - Bilingual English/Spanish highly desired

    Sound judgement and problem-solving sills

    Results-oriented and a strong sense of urgency/focus

    Desire for continuous improvement

    Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Word and Navision BC

    Experience driving a Fork Lift Is preferred.
