    Canon USA is seeking a Production Print Sales Consultant (Consultant, Production Sales) to support our dealer channel in the southern region.

    Reporting to the National Director of Sales, you will join a nationwide team that partners with dealers to sell Canon's Production Printing hardware, software and related professional services.

    You will take a leading position in driving the sale of Production print related technologies through Canon' Authorized Dealers channel.

    This will include collaborating with dealers' product specialists and consulting with end users at commercial printers, corporate printing plants and others.

    The PPSC role is a sales position and carries an assigned quota based upon a geographic territory assignment.
    Territory is the South with 50% travel. Working from a home office, candidates preferred in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana.
    This position is full time and is considered virtual.

    The office will be open 5 days a week; however you will not be required to report to the office unless there is a specific business need.

    Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.
    Specializes in the sale of Canon's production print technology offerings and services to prospective customers

    • Provides consulting expertise to customers on commercial print operations, production workflow, color management and business services development
    • Supports internal field sales and marketing groups with education, training, product launches, conference and tradeshow expertise and product demonstrations
    • Provides customer feedback to product planning groups in order to enhance future development efforts
    • Manages a sales and activity pipeline and supports our dealer channel
    • A fully qualified, seasoned professional with a full understanding of the job role who works on more complicated issues facing the department
    • Reports to Director of Sales
    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field highly preferred or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, Computer Science or other related discipline

    • Prior experience selling production print hardware, software and services a must, as is technical knowledge in the areas of imaging, off-set printing, digital printing, RIPs, color workflow and management
    • Travel of over 50% or more is expected for this position
    • This position works remotely from a home office located near a major metropolitan city/airport and requires overnight travel
    • Additionally, because this position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job, must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies
    • CDIA and Network Plus recommended
