    Job Description:

    We are seeking a Field Service Technician for a very important client.

    What will you do?


    • Perform on-site repair, maintenance, calibration, and installation of general laboratory equipment products such as incubators, centrifuges, ultra-low temp freezers, washers, etc.
    • Will work in conjunction with the scheduling department to meet the needs of our customers.
    • Provide on-site training relative to system service, maintenance, and basic operation.
    • Arrange their own travel accommodations FSE will submit expense reports to receive reimbursement for travel costs.
    • Maintain spare parts inventory.
    • Maintaining open communication with local and internal teams to enable delivering improved service Document all reasonable actions regarding the scope of work on time.
    • Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer.
    Requirement:

    The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities.

    Prior experience in Field Service and covering a large service area.

    Experience


    • Knowledge of test equipment is required-for example multi-meters, pressure sensors, mass flow controllers, or similar analog devices.
    • Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with different priorities.
    • Strong communication, great work ethic, great teammate, problem-solving skills, ability to balance multiple priorities, and a willingness to learn.
    • Experienced at solving challenges and finding opportunities (Find a Better Way Every Day) with a sense of urgency, high energy, and passion.
    • Strong communication skills and customer focus to deliver excellent customer service.
    • Ability to operate computers, smartphones, and related software efficiently.
    • Ability to work independently diagnosing and fixing with schematics, diagrams, service manuals, and other user documentation.
    Work Environment


    • Ability to drive frequently within the territory and travel overnight as required.
    • Must be available to travel overnight up to 25% within the territory or other regions as needed.
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs with assistance and carry 25-30 Lbs continuously throughout the day.
    • Ability to bend, squat, stretch, and reach daily in a service function.
    • Must have a valid driver's license and a well-maintained vehicle.
