- Provide technical and patient support, as well as patient care
- Communicate continuously with the physician regarding patient condition
- Assist physicians during invasive and non-invasive procedures
- Operate all equipment safely and correctly
- Assess procedure rooms for equipment functionality and readiness
- Obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure all needs of the Cardiac Cath Laboratory team are met
- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
- Authorized to handle medications

Cath Lab Tech Full Time Days Position Summary
THE CATH LAB TECH FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Completion of a formal two-year radiologic technology training program in an AMA approved school that meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT or equivalent on-the-job training including a minimum of four months orientation.
LICENSURE: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration; current Arizona MRTBE license; current BLS
TRAINING: Must attend EKG, Hemodynamics, IABP classes within four months of hire
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION: ARRT(CI), (VI) or ARRT (CV); ACLS
SPECIAL SKILLS: Demonstrated critical thinking skills to successfully complete orientation
