Audiologist - Per Diem


SUMMARY:
This position is accountable for the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with auditory disorders/hearing impairments. Completes diagnostic assessment to rule out or define hearing impairment. Completes hearing aid and assistive device selection and fitting. Develops, implements, and evaluates developmentally/culturally appropriate education to meet the learning needs of the patient/family.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a Masters Degree in Audiology. Doctorate Degree in Audiology preferred. AU

• Audiologist License required.

CAHAD

• CA Hearing Aid Dispenser license preferred.

BLS

• Basic Life Support is required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position.

ASHA

• American Speech Language Assn OR ABGC
• Am Board Genetic Coun-Diplomat preferred.

A minimum one (1) year pediatric experience required. Bilingual skills desirable.
