    Corporate Planning Analyst

    The Corporate Planning Analyst will report to the Treasurer and is primarily responsible for supporting the organization's Corporate Planning function for the company and serving as a liaison with our parent company on certain reporting matters. The Corporate Planning Analyst works under general supervision.

    CORPORATE PLANNING ANALYST DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Support business operations for the Corporate Planning and Treasury functions


    • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making initiatives


    • Oversee compliance adherence of internal regulations and report back as needed


    • Prepare applications and supporting documents for submission parent company


    • Update internal interest rate schedules


    • Act as liaison with parent company and coordinate the distribution, collection and analysis of company surveys and questionnaires


    • Prepare materials and documents for Board of Directors


    • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders


    • Support J-SOX Assessment and Compliance Reporting


    • Support credit application process by reviewing financial statements as needed


    • Other ad hoc projects as assigned


    • Other job duties as assigned

    CORPORATE PLANNING ANALYST REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS


    • Bilingual – English and Japanese (Fluent with speaking, interpretation, understanding, reading and writing in both languages)


    • Proficient in managing tasks and collaborating across global time zones to ensure seamless operations


    • Financial modeling skills, industry and business analysis skills, and general experience with M&A activities preferred


    • Excellent business diagnostic, analytical and logical skills. Strong communication skills (speaking and writing)


    • Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team to tackle complex business issues and facilitate ideas


    • Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to details


    • Self-motivated, unwavering integrity and commitment to honesty


    • Ability to handle multiple, diverse tasks with short deadlines


    • Ability to accurately interpret policies and procedures to provide and clarify information


    • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products

    CORPORTE PLANNING ANALYST EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Education:


    • Bachelor's degree required (Accounting or Finance preferred)

    Experience:


    • 3 plus years' experience
