Position Summary

The Department of Public Policy and Administration in the College of Liberal Arts invites applications for the Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) position.

Qualifications
Minimum Required Education
An earned Doctorate in Public Policy and Administration or a related field.

Qualifications
Demonstrate a willingness to engage in grantspersonship and published research as well as a willingness to teach online courses.

Skills and Abilities
Ability to teach public budgeting and financial management and other courses in the Ph.
D. and MPPA curriculum demonstrated through transcripts and experience.
Ability to work collaboratively with various constituencies on multiple projects.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Must teach courses in the following areas: Public Finance, State and Local Government and General Management.
Must be willing to sponsor and/or co-sponsor student organizations, as well as mentor and advise students.
Must be willing to serve on Departmental, School, College, University or Community committees.
Must participate in program assessment of student learning outcome.
