- As an Information Technology Specialist (Data Management/Systems Administration), you will:
- Support enterprise backup software solutions by creating snapshot copies of data that can be recovered if a primary data fails.
- Provide guidance to customers on procedures with storage management by answering questions on availability of modifying existing processes.
- Configure systems based on Information Assurance (IA) security standards to include the DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides.
- Ensure the security maintenance of data storage systems is in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
- Ensure backups run on schedule along with data retention mandates to verify all backup jobs completes the task on schedule.
- Coordinate with vendor support for fulfillment of deliverables outlined within service level agreements.
- Maintain application tools to monitor network resources within the machine information technology (IT) infrastructure.
