    Description

    Role & responsibilities:
    Work closely with Business teams, understand product roadmap, placement, and key differentiators.
    Study and extract feature requirements from various standards such as IEEE

    Define, document, and review wireless systems specification that provides top-down analysis from product level features to detailed software/hardware implementations.

    Study and design end-to-end wireless system solutions, capture MAC/PHY/RF interactions under different use cases and deployment scenarios.
    Track WFA & BT-sig working groups for future standards updates and continuously update/maintain the System architecture specifications.

    Use network simulator or such similar tools to evaluate feasibility, tradeoffs for various use-cases, performance of different algorithms as well as interactions and coexistence of various technologies and provide crucial data that drives the product decision.


    Qualifications:
    # Working knowledge in wireless communication systems such as OFDM, MIMO, digital modulation techniques such as QPSK, 16-QAM etc., signal processing algorithms,
    # Working knowledge in RF technologies, channel/device modelling & impairments reduction techniques, calibration algorithms, power control, PAPR techniques and DPD.
    # Hands-on experience in lab testing and characterization.
    # Expert level knowledge of wireless systems and protocols such as WiFi/Bluetooth, and networking protocols such as TCP/IP.
    # Hands-on Experience in MAC, PHY, Baseband design, implementation, and validation.
    # Working experience in Matlab, Python and fixed-point C.

    BS/MS/Ph.
    D. with 15+ years of experience
