    Job Summary

    Join our compassionate team as a Personal Care Assistant In this fulfilling role, you will provide individualized care to patients in the comfort of their homes, ensuring their needs are met with kindness and attention. Your ability to form meaningful connections with those you serve will enhance their well-being and add joy to their daily lives. We seek detail-oriented and highly organized individuals who are dedicated to fostering a healthy and supportive environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Previous experience in Home Health or Hospice settings is a plus but not required.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist patients with daily activities, including transferring them in and out of beds, baths, and wheelchairs
    • Provide personal care, including changing bed linens, laundry, and maintaining a clean home
    • Document patient care, observations, and progress to share with supervisors
    • Engage with patients through conversation or reading aloud to support their mental health
    • Administer medications and immunizations as needed
    • Encourage and assist patients in exercises and other recreational activities

    Qualifications

    • Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide program
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • At least one year of professional experience in a related role
    • Valid Driver's License
    • CPR Certification
