- Event planning and execution for all booked events at Camp Lucy
- Execute client tastings and in person meetings with clients
- Facilitate rental consultations via Whim Rentals with clients and planners
- Conduct Banquet Event Order (BEO) Meetings
- Prepare and facilitate BEO's documentation for all assigned events.
- Complete diagrams for all events through company assigned software.
- Maximize Catering revenues where possible through upselling opportunities.
- Communication of event arrangements with all responsible Camp Lucy departments
- Creation of profitable menus and distribution of client expectations to Food and Beverage Departments.
- Coordinate catering support services i.e.. Audio Visual, décor and entertainment
- Client contracting and effective communication to ensure repeat business
- Participate in pre-event meetings, training and other related meeting required.
- A minimum of 2 years event management experience.
- Outgoing and comfortable meeting with clients face to face, via conference and video calls.
- Passionate about events and able to create a vision for the client
- Must be proficient in working on a computer, and ready to quickly learn several event software programs.
- Organized and possess grace under pressure.
- Adaptable to a flexible work schedule that requires weekend and holiday availability. Peak business periods may require extended workdays and weekends.
- Strong communication skills and work under tight deadlines.
- Must be comfortable with any commute to Dripping Springs, where office and events are located.
