Job Title: Project Finance Analyst

Location: [Westlake Village, CA] / Remote/Hybrid

Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Finance Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial in evaluating incoming film projects to ensure that they are financially viable and that their financing plans are accurately structured. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the financial health and potential of projects, ensuring they meet our criteria and the expectations of our lenders.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations of film project proposals to assess financial feasibility and alignment with strategic objectives.
Analyze and verify financial data and projections provided by filmmakers, ensuring accuracy and realism in budgeting and financial planning.
Collaborate with potential borrowers to optimize financial structures and plans for maximum efficiency and funding success.
Liaise with lenders to provide accurate and detailed project information, facilitating informed decision-making.
Develop and maintain financial models to predict project outcomes and assess risks.
Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Support the negotiation process to help secure favorable financing terms for projects.
Stay updated with industry trends, financial regulations, and market dynamics to continually enhance the lending process.

Qualifications:

Preferred Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Proven experience in financial analysis, project finance, or a related field, ideally within the media, entertainment, or film industry.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
