Job summary
The Food & Nutrition Assistant is responsible for completing all duties listed on the job routine. This includes working in Patient, Retail, and Catering areas of the department.Duties may include performing sanitation duties, determining if perishable items need to be excluded from service due to spoilage,
and preparing patient trays. The assistant also assists with patient food orders and serves cafeteria customers.
Maintains the overall cleanliness of department which may include cleaning and sanitizing heavy duty equipment.
