Inventory & Cost Accounting Consultant

Our Portland area client is looking for an Inventory & Cost Accounting Consultant with exceptional SAP skills to support their onsite team on a contract basis.

Inventory & Cost Accounting Consultant Responsibilities
Handle inventory valuation, margin reporting, cycle counts, and physical inventory.
Perform job cost analysis, material and labor cost analysis, and variance analysis.
Complete inventory reconciliations.
Prepare journal entries for sales, material and labor costs, and WIP.
Provide system implementation support and process improvements.
Prepare metrics and present findings to managers.
Inventory & Cost Accounting Consultant Qualifications
5+ years of related inventory and cost accounting experience.
Prior manufacturing industry experience required.
Proficient with SAP, Access, and intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and organized.
Team player.
