    Seeking Compassionate Chaplain to Join Our Primary Care Team

    Do you have a passion for spiritual well-being and a desire to support patients on their healthcare journey?

    Home Physicians Group, a thriving primary care practice serving the greater Central Florida area, is seeking a dedicated Chaplain to join our team. In this unique role, you will provide spiritual and emotional support to our patients, fostering a holistic approach to healthcare. This is an in clinic position with some travel to patient's homes, Skilled Nursing facilities and Assisted Living facilities as needed.

    Responsibilities:

    · Conduct confidential spiritual assessments with patients to understand their beliefs and needs.

    · Offer emotional and spiritual support to patients facing illness, grief, or difficult life decisions.

    · Respect and accommodate patients of all faiths or no faith at all.

    · Collaborate with the medical team to provide comprehensive patient care.

    · Lead or participate in religious services or meditation groups upon request.

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelors or Masters degree in Divinity, Pastoral Counseling, or a related field.

    · Ordination or formal certification as a chaplain.

    · Experience working in a healthcare setting or related field(preferred).

    · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    · Strong commitment to interfaith collaboration and inclusivity.

    · Compassionate and empathetic nature.
