+Under direction of the Deputy Chief, is responsible for supervising the bus attendant/bus operator training program and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws,+Responsibilities
+Employee of this class is also responsible for building, facilitating, and leading the leadership development program for transportation staff as well as identifying and creating curriculum content and coursework appropriate+and timely for all transportation position classifications (includes fleet maintenance, safety trainers, supervisory staff,+routers etc.), This position also manages the federal drug/alcohol testing program for all eligible transportation employees.+Qualifications
+Bachelor?s degree required. Coursework in transportation,-defensive driving,-driver safety training,-first aid,and staff development. Considerable experience in the field of-transportation training-and safety-preferably including experience in a school system.-Supervisory experience in the transportaion field required.+Job description
