Advantage Tech is seeking a regional travel network/fiber professional to join one of our favorite clients

The position will be joining a team of very happy field technicians whose primary mission is to provide installation and maintenance support for the client network. You will be responsible for the installing, provisioning, maintaining, and monitoring of network equipment and services.

Required Skills

• Field experience in the networking/fiber or related industry

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

• Receive, analyze, monitor and resolve network problems in a timely manor with minimal guidance.
• Coordinate and perform new customer installations for wholesale and enterprise customers. This could include structured wiring, NID installation and the addition of plug-in cards and jumpers at the client location.
• Provide proper documentation of the client's network (Site Audit's, and Inventory Databases).
• Provide Installation, test and acceptance for the addition of new nodes and collocations to the client
• Provide emergency restoration support for aerial and buried fiber optic cable in client's network.
• Provide emergency restoration support for the client's network equipment.
