- Orienting new patient on Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy protocols and procedures
- Taking vitals on patient before entering the chamber and making sure no prohibited items are on the patient before treatment.
- Administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients. Responsible for the safe, and effective operation of the hyperbaric (HBOT) chambers and related support systems, acting as the outside attendant and control operator during clinical treatments.
- Performs oxygen therapy treatment protocols as prescribed by physician
- Observes the patient and the hyperbaric systems during oxygen treatments.
- Properly documenting the treatment
- Answering any questions the patient may have before, during, and after treatment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive patient care
- Graduate from paramedic or emergency technician, or hyperbaric technician program; and/or equivalent.
- Minimum 12 months experience in a hyperbaric environment.
- CHT - Certified Hyperbaric Tech by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology (NBDHMT), or EMT (Emergency Med Tech)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association
- Monday- Friday
- $50k-$70k (Depending on Experience)
- PTO/Vacation

Job DescriptionHyperbaric Tech Palm Harbor, FLWe are looking for a motivated and organized Certified Hyperbaric Tech to join our medical group full time in Palm Harbor, FL. Ideally, we are seeking a certified Hyperbaric Tech, who is knowledgeable about oxygen therapy, confident in their work, has a minimum 12 months of experience in a hyperbaric environment, and is a graduate from paramedic or emergency technician, or hyperbaric technician program; and/or equivalent.

We see every day how hyperbaric therapy can help play a major role in treating a variety of conditions. Our medical group believes in helping patients, changing their quality of life. We have a dedicated team with a neurologist, medical staff to include a NP, MA, and a PT, and administrative staff, who collaborate to provide our patients with the highest level of care, and we have been doing so for over 35 years We treat a wide range of patients but mostly focus on neurological patients dealing with conditions such as post stroke, CRPS, Lyme Disease, and non-healing wounds.
