Our medical department is dedicated to helping our clients improve their lives through a coordinated approach to care involving clients, their caregivers, their clinical staff, and primary care providers. What You'll Do

Take patient vitals, administer injections, collect health information, administer medication, and document in the ECR effectively
Coordinate patient scheduling, prior authorizations, maintain confidentiality and successfully collaborate with pharmacies, other nursing staff and patients to ensure the highest quality of care
Be a part of a collaborative team of medical professionals in a work environment that can sometimes be stressful and that sees a variety of groups of people. You must be an effective communicator and always be working towards your personal and professional growth in this position

Good To Know

Position is based in Fairbanks, Alaska
Full-Time, Exempt
Pay Range is between $66,445 to $85,990
Student Loan Repayment and Tuition Assistance is Available – Professional Growth is encouraged
AKBH offers generous benefits including two healthcare options for employees and their dependent children, 401k with immediate vesting and up to 5% match, 3% automatically contributed by AKBH, and 3 weeks of PTO for the first year, and 6 weeks of PTO after the first year, as well as 10 paid holidays.

What We Need from You

You have a current Practical Nurse license for the state of Alaska
You are comfortable with EMR usage and are a fast learner with computer programs
