    Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager.

    The Maintenance Technician will be a key part of our team by keeping the bakery running efficiently and driving continuous improvement forward through our PM program and special projects.

    This position organizes and facilitates maintenance on all production and facility equipment with emphasis on equipment up time and to resolve quality and production related issues including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical troubleshooting.

    This Position is Eligible for a $1,500 sign- on bonusShift: Continental Schedule (2 on, 2 off, 3 on) 12 hour shiftsTime: 6:00 pm - 6:00 amResponsibilities:Troubleshoot & replace 3 Phase motors & VFDsAbility to read electrical schematicsExperience with low voltage DC Circuits as well as a wide range of electrical devices (proxs, photo eyes, relays, contactors, safety relays, push buttons, )Read and interpret machine electrical and mechanical drawingsTroubleshoot electrical control circuits and standard safety circuitsTrouble shoot hydraulics, and pneumaticsUse Meter and Megger proficiently as needed for repair and troubleshootingRepair and rebuild electrical and mechanical componentsInstallation, modification and fabrication of equipment to meet production needs and schedulesCommunicate maintenance situations clearly from one shift to another, including Maintenance Team Leader and Maintenance ManagerPlant wide accountabilities for operational aspects including progress toward quality and production goalsParticipate in continuous improvement in safety, quality and housekeepingOther tasks as determined by the Maintenance ManagerThe ability to identify worn bushings or bearings and change as neededThe ability or willingness to learn how to weld (Tig, Stick, and Mig Although we commonly use Tig)
    Requirements

    Qualifications:
    Strong industrial electrical experienceMinimum of High School Diploma and 2+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience repairing and troubleshooting pneumatics, hydraulics, Conveyers, 3 p-phase motors, variable speed drivers and controlsAbility to work with minimal supervision within a team environmentMust have good practical sense working with and troubleshooting equipment problemsPreferred
    Qualifications:
    Previous food manufacturing experience requiredPLCVFD480 Volts
