    SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER/CONSTRUCTION MANAGER - HEALTHCARE GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS
    Seeking a motivated and experienced (CM/PM) Sr. Project Manager/Construction Manager with construction program technical education and experience to join us in Madison, WI.

    The position will report to a Program Manager as well as collaborate and assist VA client staff to provide data, and generate reports, as a representative for the client on a major healthcare construction project.


    Responsibilities:
    The Sr.

    Project Manager will provide leadership and mentorship and provide project and/or construction management of a single major program or project or multiple projects.

    Provides decisive direction in regard to business, technical, and personnel management involving multi-disciplinary and diverse functional activities. Sr.

    Project Manager will be required to learn, teach, and implement industry, client, and internal company best practices related to project delivery, budget, schedule, quality, and operations in the healthcare environment.

    Project Manager will require experience leading and mentoring a team of professionals and experience as an advisor/liaison with the client (user groups, design team, contractors, and facility engineering representatives).

    The CM services will be used to support traditional Design-Bid-Build and Design/Build contracts. A summary of the major tasks is below.

    • Overall management, in terms of technical quality, cost, and schedule.
    • Maintains daily progress reports and inspection reports. Leads the inspection and quality assurance team assigned to projects to ensure timely and effective project oversight.
    • Identify and mitigate risks on the project(s) that will impact medical center facilities or that could have a severe impact on patient care.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Licensing: None Required
    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture from an accredited University OR 15 years of directly related experience.
    • Experience: 7 years of experience in the management of healthcare facility construction projects including supervision of engineering, design and construction, schedule control, cost management, program budgeting, and overall project management activities. Professional experience should include strong knowledge of construction documents, as well as superior management and communication skills.
    • Leadership: Must possess the skillset and competency to supervise and manage personnel of diverse skillsets.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Federal and healthcare projects.
    • CCM, CQM, PMP, OHSA certifications
