- Prior experience in water sampling or environmental monitoring is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail.

Class Definition
Independently conducting water quality monitoring and field surveys at saltwater and freshwater beaches; collecting water samples and delivering them to the analytical laboratory; making and recording field measurements and observations; assisting in maintaining and updating environmental monitoring data in electronic databases; data analysis and other duties as required.
Must have completed some post-secondary education.
