Sedona Family Dentistry is a private dental practice located in Sedona, AZ. We are dedicated to providing quality dental care to our patients and ensuring their oral health is our top priority. We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Hygiene department. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive oral hygiene services to patients under the supervision of our dentists. Your expertise in preventive dental care and patient education will be essential in promoting good oral health habits and preventing dental diseases.

• Perform dental hygiene procedures including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
• Assess patients' oral health conditions and document findings in patient records
• Take and develop dental x-rays as required
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
• Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants as needed
• Identify and address any periodontal or dental concerns during patient appointments
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure efficient and effective patient care
• Maintain dental equipment and ensure sterilization and infection control protocols are followed
• Assist in scheduling patient appointments and managing patient records
• Perform administrative and accounting tasks as necessary, such as managing patient billing

• Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Arizona
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
• Excellent knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and practices
• Proficient in using dental software and digital imaging technology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
• Ability to educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Prior experience working in a dental practice is preferred

This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We offer competitive compensation in the range of $40.00 to $45.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
