    For placement in lecturer applicant pool beginning Spring 2023. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance, and availability of funds. May be for day, evening, or weekend offerings, on- and off-campus (eg, clinical settings). Duties and Responsibilities

    • Teach up to 12 credit hours equivalent of Aeronautical Science courses per semester.
    • Assist in managing the Aeronautical Sciences degree program. May be called upon to provide support in teaching simulator courses.
    • Participate in ongoing course and curriculum development activities in the program and college as a whole.
    • May be called upon to assist in overseeing the flight simulator maintenance program.
    • Assist in course scheduling, syllabus, and reports related to teaching and student progress.
    • Maintain a minimum of five office hours per week and advise students.
    • Participate and engage in CAFNRM/University/community service activities Minimum Qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, a
      • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), and Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) may be required for some courses.
      • Evidence of involvement with a University Aeronautical Sciences program.
      • Possession of current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) CFI and ATP licenses may be required for some courses.
      • Demonstrated ability to teach at the college level including hands-on courses.
      • Demonstrated experience in program management and community outreach.
