- Teach up to 12 credit hours equivalent of Aeronautical Science courses per semester.
- Assist in managing the Aeronautical Sciences degree program. May be called upon to provide support in teaching simulator courses.
- Participate in ongoing course and curriculum development activities in the program and college as a whole.
- May be called upon to assist in overseeing the flight simulator maintenance program.
- Assist in course scheduling, syllabus, and reports related to teaching and student progress.
- Maintain a minimum of five office hours per week and advise students.
- Participate and engage in CAFNRM/University/community service activities Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, a
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), and Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) may be required for some courses.
- Evidence of involvement with a University Aeronautical Sciences program.
- Possession of current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) CFI and ATP licenses may be required for some courses.
- Demonstrated ability to teach at the college level including hands-on courses.
- Demonstrated experience in program management and community outreach.
