GTM Sourcing Director Role

Pure Storage is seeking a highly experienced GTM Sourcing Director to join our Corporate Sourcing and Procurement team.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that align with GTM objectives, optimize supplier performance, reduce costs, consolidate spend, and enhance supply chain resilience across CX, Sales, and Marketing.

The Director will lead sourcing initiatives that align with company strategy and priorities, drive supplier performance, and expand spend under management.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and execute a GTM Sourcing Strategy that aligns with company goals and secures buy-in from key GTM stakeholders.
Negotiate global spend for key GTM-related categories, ensuring cost efficiency and supplier performance.
Lead supplier selection, supplier performance management, and supply base optimization, ensuring the highest levels of quality, service, and cost-effectiveness.
Implement and manage a Preferred Supplier Program, building strong relationships with key suppliers to secure consistent supply and drive performance improvements.
Leverage data analytics to monitor and report on key sourcing metrics, track cost savings, and identify trends that support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with Legal to establish optimal contract terms and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management with a strong focus on GTM-related functions (CX, Sales, Marketing).
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
Proven ability to build and manage strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to drive alignment and business impact.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing cost savings and optimizing supplier performance.
Ability to analyze data, track savings, and use reporting tools to support strategy and decision-making.
Experience in leading and scaling a global sourcing team within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
