    Summary of Duties

    The Server is responsible for serving meals and performing related tasks in the dining room. The ideal candidate will work efficiently and ensure a pleasant dining experience for our residents.

    Essential Functions

    • Communication Skills: Ability to follow written and oral directions, communicate with residents, and relate to their needs.
    • Dining Room Service: Assist in set-ups, take orders, serve food, and bus tables.
    • Kitchen Support: Set up and deliver trays as requested by the chef or cook.
    • Cleanliness: Clean work areas and maintain a neat appearance.
    • Teamwork: Work cooperatively with other associates to produce a pleasant and efficient dining room operation.

    Non-Essential Functions

    • Resident Engagement: Participate in resident-centered activity programs and support initiatives that promote social interaction.
    • Committee Participation: Join committees or projects assigned by supervisors.
    • Professional Development: Attend associate meetings, in-service education, and functions as requested.

    Requirements

    • Education: High School Diploma or GED at a minimum.
    • Physical Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively, stand, bend, lift (up to 40 pounds), and perform repetitive tasks.
    • Soft Skills: Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with diverse groups.
    • Background Checks: Completion of drug testing and criminal record background check upon hire and as requested by supervisors.

    Benefits and Compensation

    $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
