Job Summary
We are seeking a Staff Embedded Software Engineer IPT Lead with an active clearance to join our team of qualified individuals in Northridge CA.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams supporting Flight Software DevOps Software Architects Engineering tools and Ground Support Equipment Software.
- Manage the entire software development efforts.
- Plan organize and manage technical activities.
- Serve as a Cost Account Management CAM and present to senior-level management on cost schedule technical risks opportunities integration hardware systems promote a collaborative environment between different disciplines organizations resulting in teams that can effectively solve problems as they arise proactively prevent things becoming issues Relocation assistance may be available The selected candidate for this position requires on-site presence in Northridge CA Basic qualifications include Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline plus 12 years related engineering experience Master's degree plus 10 years related engineering experience PhD degree with only 8 years related engineering experience Experience leading an engineering team of at least thirty members CAM EVMS duties responsibilities Risk Opportunity Issue management experience complex hardware system architecture Active DOD Secret clearance preferred qualifications ability SAP SAP clearance extensive flight software system architecture knowledge Primary Level Salary Range $171000-$256400 depending position employee eligible overtime shift differential discretionary bonus annual bonuses reward individual contributions allow employees share company results Vice President Director positions eligible Long Term Incentives add health insurance coverage life disability savings plan paid holidays PTO vacation personal business application period twenty days posting date shortened extended based business needs availability qualified candidates Northrop Grumman Equal Opportunity Employer decisions race color religion creed sex sexual orientation gender identity marital status national origin age veteran status disability protected class U.S. Citizenship required government clearance certain restricted positions>
