- Master of Science Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse with current license to practice in the State of Ohio
- Certificate of Authority, State of Ohio
- National Certification in Adult, Family or Acute Care
- Certificate to Prescribe, State of Ohio
- BLS required, until ACLS obtained
- Minimum 2 Years experience in nursing care relevant to medical patient population to include leadership/management experience with demonstrated success.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and sensitively orally and in writing.
- Ability to analyze and use clinical outcome and aggregate data.
- Clinical expertise in patient population.

Description
The Nurse Practitioner performs comprehensive history and physical assessments on the general medical population in a variety of settings, which may include inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory and others. Using the interdisciplinary team process, completes a comprehensive H&P and contributes to the development of an integrated plan for the management of general medical patients, and communicates this plan to others involved in the care of the patient. Ensures quality of patient care by utilizing established standards of care for general medical patients and coordination of services with physicians, care managers, social workers, patient care coordinators, therapists and other community agencies as appropriate.
